  mitt romney is running for president of the united states.

  i see one big problem with electing a mormon as president.

  doing so will give much more respectability to the mormon church.

  How many religions have ONLY YHWH as God ?

  lets say a ex-jw wants to find another religion, but still believes that only yhwh is god and only he should be adored, which religions can he turn to ?.

  most, if not all, so called christian religions pray to jesus and adore him, or put jesus on the same level as jehovah..

  theres a "church of yhwh", a "church of yaweh", a "assembly of yhwh", a "congregation of yhwh" and what not... just a tip for all who consider switching: don't trade one drug for another.

  For those of you who don't go to meetings anymore...

  when you attended your last meeting ever as a dub, did you know it was your last?

  did something happen which made it clear in your mind you were 'never going back' (not to be confused with nvrgnbk)?.

  the last meeting we went to was the memorial in 2006. we only went because we knew we were already pegged for the elders' unwanted attention, so we had to go to keep them off our backs a little longer.

  i don't know if i already had my last meeting. haven't been to one in about a year or so, with the exception of the memorial and one day of the district convention. my biggest problem was, that my wife still wanted to go and would always be upset about me not going, because everyone would ask her why i am not there. luckily she now stopped going also. i don't know when i can make the final step (stop going to the memorials) though.

  Must JWs Confirm They're JWs?

  i was just wondering.

  is there some sort of doctrine, or belief, principle, rule or whatever, that says that jehovah's witnesses, when asked, must confirm that they're jehovah's witnesses?

  (one possible basis for such a rule, that comes to mind, is the bit about peter denying jesus three times before the cock crowed.).

  i hope you gringos have enough separation of religion and state to not let the religious views of a president effect any of his/her politics. it's pretty clear by now, who's gonna be the next president. and even if a JW could and would be elected, it couldn't be much worse than it is right at the moment.

  that's not true... according to genesis, it actually was god who punished mankind. (so he could save them later by sacrificing his son to himself - you know, that beat-em-up kinda love).

  like 2 weeks ago i opted for a paid membership on jwmatch.com to contact a few dubs and point them to websites like this one.

  now i haven't been able to access jwmatch.com for more than a week though.

  does anyone know what happened?
